You should know, I have not always thought of money as important. If anything, I thought I should make money less important. I already had so much privilege.
For 12 years, I taught Math to low-income kids all over The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.
Service was deeply important to me. But, despite my level of service, I could see it wasn't making an impact. I could see that the system was based on scarcity, so no matter how much I tried, no matter how much I connected with the kids, the kind of change I wanted to make wasn't sticking. I wanted MORE.
So I started my own business. This isn't something I had ever thought of doing, I had NEVER sold anything,
